The central aim of this project was to showcase my skills in 3D modelling, animation, and texturing by designing a scene featuring a Pokeball dropping from above. The primary focus was to create an animation that accurately depicted the real-world physics of a bouncing object and to apply appropriate textures that would realistically reflect light, as if the Pokeball was composed of a blend of metal and plastic materials.
I had to apply textures to the Pokeball that would mimic the materials from which it is supposedly made - metal and plastic. This step involved developing textures that would reflect light in a way that was consistent with these materials, adding a layer of realism to the scene.
The final product is not only a fun tribute to a beloved pop culture icon but also a solid proof of concept for my ability to create realistic 3D animations.
